Go Batty In London

London has much to offer with its nightlife, so why not take a walk on the wildside? This Thursday, the London Wetland Centre is doing its annual Big Batty walks. You get armed with an Echolocator (a device that detects the high-pitched squeek bats use to navigate) and a torch to discover some of the creatures of the night by the fantastically beautiful lagoons. You will also find the usual signs of civilisation as the centre has its own restaurant which serves fresh hot and cold food throughout the day, and a shop.

The centre is found down Queen Elizabeth Walk in Barnes, nearest tube stop is Hammersmith and then a "duck bus", or easily reached via the A3.
